Annual trainings for Residential Care and Senior Center Programs in May and June; the Quarterly Meetings for hygienists who already have or are considering developing hygiene programs for seniors will be held in April, July and November. The   community   is   coming   together   to   produce   the   Seattle/King   County   Clinic,   Oct.   26   –   29,   2017   in KeyArena   at   Seattle   Center. This   giant   health   clinic   offers   a   full   range   of   free   dental,   vision   and   medical   care to   underserved   and   vulnerable   populations   in   the   region.   The   effort,   involving   months   of   preparation   and thousands   of   volunteers,   transforms   KeyArena   into   the   largest   clinic   of   its   kind   in   Washington   State.   Over 4,000   patients   are   served   by   over   3,000   healthcare   professionals   and   general   support   volunteers,   providing more than $3.5 million in healthcare services.

Volunteer   Dental   Hygienists   are   needed   at the    SKC    Clinic.    Join    as    many    as    100 partner       organizations,       including       the Washington   Dental   Hygienists’   Association, to   offer   free   dental,   vision   and   medical   care to   underserved   and   vulnerable   populations. With    your    help,    we    can    treat    over    4000 patients   and   provide   more   than   $3.5   million in   healthcare   services.   Each   day   the   Clinic needs    over    750    healthcare    professionals and   general   support   volunteers   to   operate. The    Clinic    provides    most    equipment    and supplies,   as   well   as   free   meals   and   parking. Don’t    forget,    you    can    earn    up    to    5    CE credits    per    year    by    volunteering!    Learn more: seattlecenter.org/volunteers
