HIV SERVICES

Our Background

Care Alliance Health Center provides HIV prevention, treatment, and support. Our program is staffed by a specialized team that provides HIV and STI screenings, PrEP, PEP, ART, linkage to care, and education.

Prevention

We provide PrEP and PEP at our Central and St. Clair clinic. These medications are 99% effective at preventing HIV. You can schedule an appointment by calling 216-535-9100.

Clinical staff members at each of our sites have been trained in HIV testing and risk reduction counseling so that testing can be offered upon request at each site. Walk-in testing is available daily between 8am and 5pm. We also offer free transportation to medical appointments, and home delivery for medications ordered through the Care Alliance pharmacy.

Screening

We offer confidential HIV and STI testing at our facilities and community-based organizations, college campuses, correctional facilities, and community events.

PrEP

Pre-exposure prophylaxis (or PrEP) is when people at very high risk for HIV take HIV medicines daily to lower their chances of getting infected. Care Alliance Health Center is a proud PReP provider. Outreach Testing

Care Alliance collaborates with several safety-net service providers throughout the Cleveland community to offer free, confidential HIV testing in outreach settings. Many of these outreach testing opportunities take place via our Mobile Testing Unit.
